About

Hi, I’m Revy

I’m a licensed Chinese medicine practitioner, tea anthropologist, facilitator, and writer.

I love to:

  • learn (German, Mandarin, Evolutionary Astrology)

  • teach (Chinese medicine workshops, tea classes, creative hangs)

  • drink tea (mostly shou pu’er — a dark, earthy, fermented tea)

  • play video games (currently obsessed with: Life Is Strange and Cyberpunk 2077)

  • read (mostly literature, science fiction, graphic novels, spirituality)

My work is at the intersection of ritual, belonging, and stillness.

What ordinary things can we make sacred? How do we create connection and belonging in an isolated world? What arises when we get quiet?

Revy is a licensed Chinese Medicine Practitioner & Acupuncturist.

She received her master’s degree in Oriental Medicine from Kootenay Columbia College of Integrative Health Sciences in a little mountain town in British Columbia, where she logged over 3,000 hours of class time and 500+ clinic hours. She’s nationally board-certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and licensed by the state of North Carolina.

Her special interests within the field include Taoism, Chinese history/culture/philosophy, martial arts, the Mandarin language, & the psycho-emotional realm. Revy is continually exploring how to be in right relationship with this ancient medical system which originated in a culture different from her own. As Chinese medicine is an immensely rich & vast system, Revy will continue to deepen her relationship to it for the rest of her life.

My tea practice is central to my life. Besides holding my life together, I see it as a ritual technology for stillness & connection. My in-person offerings are centered around a Chinese style of tea service called Gongfu Cha. All photos on my site are my own.
